Was there ever a factory load area bulkhead?

I've never seen such a thing, only plenty of later-fit efforts, I'd like a full load-area bulkhead to separate driver and passenger from the rear. OK, I suppose a chassis-cab top does pretty much the same thing, but if you've bodied as panel-sided, was there ever something going that route?

I'm thinking something made of sheet with the chassis-cab window in it, must be very rare, if it ever was made, but did this ever exist?

Tahnks for the link. Reading in between the lines via the link, being a factory ex-service workhorse, it had the rarer options. BTW: I swear by heated screens, quicker to defrost than even my uprated heater. I've never seen a porthole like that.

Sounds like a real bulkhead is a rare thing. Rocking-horse poo springs to mind. Had sliding glass too it seems. Bet it warms up on winter mornings quicker. And did chassis-cabs have sliding rear glass? If so, all I need then is chassis-cab rear window.

Chassis cabs would have used the standard truck cab, so yes.

A truck-cab window then, and some sheet should mean it's not to hard to knock-up a fair copy. I suspect, warmer and quieter. I'll have a go.

does that actually have a partnr? Or is it just what work shop tinkering at solihull looks like when most of the stuff laying around is land rover related.

Anyway, looks the part and deserves to be copied IMHO.

Seeing as how often we get to see one, you could well be right... might easily be just something they gave the apprentice as a 'one-off'
