I get the feeling these days owning a six means you put on whatever you cna get, beggars can't be choosers 'n all that, but I could have sworn I saw Rimmers (or one of the 'addocks) list a twin-box system for the six. Fitted to some. I think it was for the SW. The more utilty nature means it likley never saw a one ton. Does that sound right or is my a**se talking? Even if the 'addocks did offer this, that does not mean it was ever a factory option.

I've looked, many list the six as getting a bigger single box as against the four's system. It looks liek a differnt system. They also make a deal of it not being suitable for the one ton.

The Stage One V8 always has twin-box standard. So definitively, what is unique about a one ton system, and was a twin ever an option for any six?...

My parts book only lists a single box system for the six. I was also under the impression that the front pipe is unique to the 1-Ton (although I know not why) but the rest of the system is standard. As you suggest, who knows what aftermarket producers came up with...
