Why does this not look odd?

A streched 2B? Also on 11.00s?

the stretched IIb looks like it's still on 900's to me.

Excellent looking tyres, but even rarer and more expensive than 9.00's.

Are they really 1100s? I wouldn't have thought they would have a fit on a 6.5" rim would they? Special wheels?

Didn't a 2b get tested in the desert on 11.00s? Possibly with a 3 litre in it?

Good question, well presented, deserves an answer.

You might well be right though, wasn't it something to do with the 101 developed programme, or am I on something else entirely?

I think you're on the right lines. Wasn't it connected to the development of the 129 to take on the Power Wagon in the oil fields?

I'm not 100% sure, I vaguely remember something from a mid 90's LRO, fairly certain it was an interview with Norman Busby, and had some mention of the Mighty Antar wagons getting stuck a lot because they were so damn big.

Ring any bells?
