Scammell Pioneer project

Postby watson32 » Fri Mar 08, 2013 7:13 pm

I've just bought a 1944 Scammell Pioneer.

its been stood in a barn for 20ish years so needs a bit of work. Nothing too major really, mainly needs bits freeing off and cleaning up.

Bit of an update on the truck, we managed to free the engine off and got it started :) (after being stood for 20 years it was a bit smokey at first but its cleared up now)

Had a bit of a drive round to make sure everything is working (turns out the brakes where sticking abit)

Have adjusted all the brakes now (everythin is nice n easy to work on)

Just on with changing the tyres now then hopefully it'll be out on the road (then i can get back on with the 2B)
