One Ton - St Helens - any connections known?

We are still trying to research the history of 26600042A with very little success. We received a reliable snippet of information, frustrating in its brevity, that our vehicle went to a business in St Helens Lancashire in 1972, when it left Brookes Brothers dealership in Rhyl N.Wales. Has anyone picked up any association between another one ton and a business in St Helens?

Does anyone know St Helens well enough to suggest possible sources of Land Rover info.
