My first hurdle... Rebuilding the front axle on a resto project, the near side front half shaft has excessive wear on the stub shaft shoulder, note the beveled edges, the scoring on the shaft itself looks a lot worse in the picture
, I think this has been caused by missing spiralox ring in the drive member and distance piece so the half shaft has been able to move, any ideas on a source for these EVN unique parts?
Any advice welcome

Re: EVN Front axle rebuild hitch...
Is it that much bigger than the standard series item?
Most things outboard of the swivels are the same as a standard series motor.
Worst case you could probably find a machine shop or similar to build up the damaged surface and turn it back down to size?

Sorry Das I haven't made myself clear, the main problem is sourcing the missing spiralox ring and distance piece. Am I right to assume they are going to be very difficult to find new?
Re: EVN Front axle rebuild hitch...
I've just found the parts on lrdirect website

Half my answer wasn't as clear as it could be either reading back... hehe.
As you've discovered, same as a standard Series motor?
