Finally got round to inspecting the wheel rims that were fitted to 75A when I bought it. Three of the rims are stamped 569203, which has been overstamped XXXXXX, but no other number has been added. Two of these rims were originally bronze green and therefore not original to 75A whether it was blue or grey when built. The other was originally limestone. All three of these appear to have the same offset;



The other rim is stamped 543384 (IIA FC rim?) and was originally painted red so may have been from a fire appliance;

They look to be 569204s.

I agree with Dan. The position of the inner paert of the wheel (where the rivets are) is not correct for 569203.

543384 is indeed the 2aFC rim. Extremely rare it would seem, but not as desireable as the 'holy grail' of rims, the 569203.

On the back of a 569203, the inner part is flush with the outer part by the rivets. I should know, I have a set on mine.

I have just had 6 rims blasted and revealed the following numbers:-
543384 - I believe are 2a FC rims (correct?)
569203 - 2b rims (correct?)
and 503489 which I can't find details of anywhere but appear to have the same offset as 543384, anyone any ideas on where they are from?

543384 - seem to have been IIA FC rims
569203 - Fitted to IIBs and some 1-Tons. I am not sure if 569204 were also fitted to IIBs but they were the other option on 1-Tons.
