Hi, thanks, found the picture on the internet. The car seems to have changed hands a bit, but it is in a remarkably good condition, despite the dents and the occassional bent body panel. It's a pity someone removed the rear winch and the hydraulic pump, though.
Do I understand it correctly that the winches were driven by a Dowty hydraulic pump? I am a bit ignorant of these accessories - does anyone on here know whether the pump run directly from the gearbox? I was looking at
http://www.landrover-winches.com/Parts/ ... trol_Valve and it seems it's supposed to be attached straight to the gearbox...? Just wondering whether my shopping list includes a centre PTO for a One Ton/FC box or whether "just" the pump and the winch are needed.
