Hi, had a few leafers over the years (and a 127 200 Tdi boinger, feet in both camps) having had 80" 1953 daily driver , 88" 2A petrol 63 daily driver, ditto diesel 65, was daily driver, 72 series 2B that was shyte and found every excuse not to drive it, another 2A petrol bought for wife but she didn't get on it, so I sold it quickly.

Currently have 1983 101" FC ex Rapier TRT 12 volt with winch, and a wide-track to further pull down the MPG, and a Minerva TT licence 80" 1952 build/ 1953 model year, and a Roset Jeep trailer to further pull down the MPG (see any trend here?)

Wouldn't mind seeing some shots of the 127, have a bit of a "thing" for them, especially in V8 form.

I drove the 127 into three cars and wrote off two of them and the 127. It was a working tool, I may have a photo of it lurking somewhere but I don't think so. Was ex tizzy co with Glassnite body. Started as 2.5 Td then got converted to 200 Tdi, Farey drum winch (written off in crash) Pity, such is life.......

And why not a widetrack? It woukld have towed Blindfire radar, but not very useful (there was one for sale but I resisted) They didn't tor Rapier reload trailers, They were towed by a 109" so although people pair the Rapier FUT's and TRT's with Rapier resupply I can't see why. Widetrack is lighter, easier to manhandle and more fuel efficient.....

Not much left now, Sold the Matador, Explorer, K9, Mighty Antar and 50 Ton trailer.....Still got the Ex Heathrow Airport Douglas Transporter and ROF Eager Beaver APFLT. There is a Minerva TT and Roset jeep type trailer in there somewhere...Around the yard there is an Air Portable 5 ton Trailer for the Eager Beaver....
