Hello and afternoon all.
Just found the link to here on the S2C forum, posted it on SLR and thought I'd sign up. Afterall, what's not to like

.
I'm on a few forums of various LR clubs and groups, so many of you may have seen me on the web before.
However, for those that haven't my usual, and since job location change, now daily driver is a 2008 90 XS SW and in the garage undergoing repair is a 1964 IIa.
Unfortunately, no matter how much I'm drawn to FC's and 101's there just isn't the space let alone the pennies

.
See you all around.
Chris.

Hello and welcome.
You can always park an FC in the street.

Indeed, but I could see an entry on the Landy Watch forum very soon afterwards

.
Cheers for the welcome.

Leave the six pot and FC box in, in will have run out of fuel within a few minutes, and you could walk behind them to catch up.
In all seriousness, without going into too much detail, not everyone can keep them hidden away or in a garage. I would say Defenders are more sought-after by the scumbags anyway.

I'd say, if it's metal they are after they'll go for anything. It's just there's a fair bit more metal in Defenders and earlier models.
In reality I'm still fiddling with my IIa, so whatever happens in the future, another one couldn't arrive before one had departed anyway.
Chris.

Ugh, same problem here, one in one out! That's not how Land Rovers should work! they should develop as a little community in the front and back garden!

You still run out of room in the end - and money for that matter if you let the collection grow too much! You know what they say 'buying a classic vehicle is just the down payment'...
