Hello, I have been lurking for a long time and also using your combined knowledge, thanks.
I am from Twyford Berkshire and my Land Rover is a 109" 6cyl IIA recovery pick up although I have long since sold the Harvey Frost crane and removed all the livery. Here's the thing: (and it shames me to admit) it's not a one ton and not only that, in spite of having one ton rims it's not even on 900s. I managed to get hold of 8.25 x 16 Michelin studded which helps up the noise level from ludicrous to intolerable. So I may be a fake but I suffer the same as you.
