For reference, the nuts holding the halves together are 24 mm AF.

Some Shorlands had a dividable forged aluminium 6,50H x 16" rim. The H type rim has a 28 mm tall rim bead where the regular J type has only 17 mm rim bead height. In the pics is my 88" sporting a set of those, fitted with 255/85 R 16 tyres.

Australian MOD 88's and 109's had two tanks under the seats and outside fillers on both sides.

900's on a lightweight will fit. It's up to you to say if looks right.
Do make sure you upgrade your brakes to SIII 11" drums and vacuumbooster. You need a whole lot more stopping power due to a larger radius and more momentum in those big heavy tires.
