If the rims were build to a specified accuracy which I doubt. It would probably be 3/16 to 1/4in so measuring in mm to sub 1/8in is pretty pointless.

I suspect they were built in jigs that wore over time hence the range of measurements found today.

If you go onto the JLR Facebook post about the new(2nd hand) defender and read the comments it’s hilarious. I especially liked the one that suggested they should of produced a 2018 200tdi 110 with a galv chassis and washable interior rather than this footballers wives car.

I looks like there was loads of room from the photos ( well there was loads of room, you can see it :!: ), but in the cab that lane felt very narrow and the bends seemed very tight :? .I was actualy a little bit disappointed with the 2.6. it defintly does not have the low down torque of the 2 1/4 ....
