Re: bad week for the hobby....
First one straightened out pretty well :DD , will mount it on an axle this weekend to see if the staightened centre is actually still aligned. Now to remove the tire from the second (they only managed to get one heel of the rim, so I still have to cut the other to get the tire off) Any experience in...

Re: bad week for the hobby....
I'm really not sure I can blame them for it. They have done some other heavy (dis)mounting for me in te past, they have the right equipment and really know what their stuff too. On top of that it wasn't exactly a commercial venture, they never really charged me for hobby work. (I really do not want ...

bad week for the hobby....
Its not been a good week for my land rovers, there now is serious dent in het hobby budget. First the cooling loss on my 130 TD5 turn out to be due to a cracked head rather than a shifted gasket and than the tyre workshop managed to bend 2 of my 203 rims trying to get a couple of old nato tyres of. ...

Re: 9.00x16 equivalents
Silverstones don't look to shabby as an offroader. What rims are you using? Like my 569203's, but they do take your tire another 20mm closer to the body over a 569204. So fingers crossed it will work on a 1-ton (ranger has them on an FC right?) Anyhow, as to Dan's question, I think the XS will end u...

Re: 9.00x16 equivalents
Does anybody have experience running true 900-16 XZL, so not the later 255/100 type on a 1-ton? They appear (well they are) considerably larger and moreover, they are wider than the familiar NATO item Have the strong suspision they will fit a FC, but will not clear the wings/tub on 1-ton. Espesially...

Re: Was there ever a factory load area bulkhead?
does that actually have a partnr? Or is it just what work shop tinkering at solihull looks like when most of the stuff laying around is land rover related.
Anyway, looks the part and deserves to be copied IMHO.

Meanwhile I do believe the little truck deserves a second chance. Looking for 2200 euro's (1850 GBP) for it to go in one piece. Found this to complete the project. Free to the man that gives the truck a good home. Looking at the bay that saves you about 300 pounds ;) http://i66.tinypic.com/14vpwz9.j...

Re: what would Q106AFG boil down to...
BTW would the rediculously heavy bumber have been part of the package

must be 4mm thick, there is a reason the wings are shot but the bumper is straight
its heavy and it worked!
