Le Frog looks good but i think I would go with a 109 and did think of using a lt95 with a short 1st motion shaft and moving the engine back like a six cyl to keep the 2a front. Yes the chassis is scratch built. the gearbx is a diesel Freelander item which is quite high geared as some of the reductio...

If you look at the pic of the 109 you can see that it is leaf sprung which i like and judging by the six wheel studs I suspect Jap axels though I would try and stick with sailsburys if I could find a front or perhaps modify a rear to take series swivels. I rember Simon also Harold Carman who I still see now and then, he also Had an ultra light P6 powerd motor. We did change things when we came along with the coilers but there is still interest in the leaf sprung motors with some new ones being built. You may be interested in this http://www.youtube....

Hi

Hi, I just signed up as interested in 1 tons and land Rovers in general. I used to own a 2B and have driven and worked on a few 109 1 ton's back in the 80's.
I am currently building a trialer but once that is done maybe I will build a 109.
