Give the exhaust valves an extra 10 thou of clearance over the book figure.

It WILL rattle a little, but as the exhaust clearances have a habit of closing up whilst running (and will burn out valves if they're left long enough) you have an audible indicator that the valves have enough clearance, and when they go quiet you know it's time to adjust them, which knowing how awkward they are to do on an FC, it's worth it, rather than having to get in under the cab and exhaust manifold to get them adjusted.

Despite cab mods and new seats the bulkhead dials etc floors controls original unmeshed with. Electric fan switch on demand switch bracket crewed thru an existing hole. No new holes drilled.

I just plan to show locally keep the miles low exercise it from time to time.

Jobs to do. Sort alternator, repair door top drivers side corrosion and tappets to set now its had a few runs to clear out the cobwebs.

Then mid October into storage for the winter. storage prep ect.

Enjoyed saving whats original and recommissioning deffo a keeper. from the5097 as found to 5134 miles delivered plus driveway driving tests now sitting just over 5260 miles. Its such a joy steering wise brakes are fantastic front the original liners. to the fully factory original axels transmission all is smooth. all i have changed is seals brake pipes and cylinders.

I do fancy finding a One tonne series three land Rover 109 :)

You haven't been able to buy new ones for years now.
Even used ones are thin on the ground.
