So after christmas and new year it's back to the rebuild, more precisely after the painters christmas! Anyway collected some more body panels and couldn't resist trying them:-

In addition the battery and loom have been connected and with the aid of a petrol can we've had the engine running for a short time as the cooling system is incomplete, the plan is to fit an electric fan to save hassle finding the rest of the shaft fan. Still away to go but we're getting there. Still looking for bits so there should soon be a post on "wanted"

Looking rather excellent, can't wait to see more.
It looks surprisingly similar to the coil sprung one coming together in the workshop too.

I still have the six cylinder fan, prop shaft and radiator assembly from Jeremys V8 IIB.
The V8 went in with a 110 radiator and electric fans, so the other bits are surplus. I think the radiator hoses are still there in the parts department too.
Got to be worth a message to ask him anyways?

:2b:
I thought it was time to continue the posts, the rebuild got a bit delayed as the surgeons had to fix me first!
Anyway the thing is up and running, MOT'd and usable after a fashion. Having never driven a FC before, despite owning 2, it came as a culture shock. My normal car is a TDv8 Range Rover!
Hopefully following are some more recent photos.
First drive out of the garage under its own power

Cab back from the paintshop, and somewhere the back body got fitted.

Upand running, but as usual still loads to do!

The Galv chassis looks really good in contrast to the grey paint work, I think that will only get better as it fades through uv exposure.

I'm years behind you on my rebuild, just about to start priming the chassis with bonda prime, your pics are very inspirational! Nice work
